Stage Reviews
"Eating Alone," a duet in act one.
"Seven Brothers," Eugene's act one solo.
Alex & Eugene: A World Premiere Musical
"Eugene is played by Reggie Herold, whose bone structure would indicate he is the son of Michelangelo's left and right hands. Not only does he cut a mean profile, but he's a powerful force on stage, often telling an entire story with a single glance - beginning, middle, and end. And sometimes an epilogue. (Once, also a trailer for the sequel.) He's an exciting actor to watch, especially opposite his co-star, Alex, played by Jae Shin."

"The performers are wonderful as well. Reggie Herold conveys the energy, self-confidence, and easy affability of Eugene [...] [he] had this puppy dog buff arrogance which came across so well."

"The brightest spots are the performances. Reggie Herold, as Eugene, is truly extraordinary, and elevates the material in a way few others could."
"Standout-singing from Jae Shin (Alex), Reggie Herold (Eugene), Brittany Zeinstra (Esme), and the completely underutilized Aja Downing (Cassandra)."
"An incredibly talented cast; their voices are gorgeous and their performances are honest and engaging."
